Five Perks of Working at Neo PR

Five Perks of Working at Neo PR

Since joining Neo PR earlier this year, my journey at the stables has been a great ride. In this blog, I will outline the five biggest things I enjoy about working at Neo PR, and discuss the key skills that I have learned along the way.

A Family Feel

One of the main attractions for me when I joined the Neo PR team was the prospect of working with a close knit team. From day one, I have felt at home here, and have enjoyed working with the team to get the job done. But aside from working hard and meeting campaign deliverables, there is also the opportunity to unwind and have fun, perhaps by heading out for lunch together, or by enjoying a game of bowling to celebrate an employee milestone or achievement. All of this goes a long way to making me feel comfortable and settled, but above all, part of a family at Neo PR.

Flexible Working

Neo PR understands that flexibility is key to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Unlike the conventional 9-to-5 grind, Neo PR offers a flexible work arrangement that accommodates different working styles. The freedom to work remotely has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to be more productive and align my work hours with plans with friends and family. Ultimately, this balance leads to me feeling both happier and more productive, both inside and outside of the office.

The Stables

Being able to work on a farm, and in a repurposed horse stables, is also a unique and attractive part of working at Neo PR. It may sound like a cliche, but being able to look out the window, or go for a walk with the team makes a world of difference, and helps to refocus in those times where things can become a bit overwhelming. When the weather allows, being able to meet outside in the sunshine is also a massive boost. The culture at Neo PR is very supportive of taking breaks and enjoying the countryside, so what better way to do it than to work in it!

Unique clients

Having previously been involved in B2C PR for a sole housebuilder client, the ability to work across a number of accounts in the B2B Tech space is also an exciting challenge. From IoT to SaaS, HR Technology and printing technology providers, I am fortunate enough to work across a diverse range of clients, which makes each day unique, and ensures that I am picking up industry knowledge along the way.

Pets are welcome!

The final perk of working at Neo PR is the attitude towards pets at the Stables. The office’s resident Border Collie, Sam, can often be found encircling your legs as you work, or asking you for a quick fuss. Failing that, Amy’s tiny Daschund Baguette makes an appearance or asks for some attention (which is hard to resist!). Being able to look down and see them both enjoying themselves in the office or taking them for a walk around the farm is great fun, and helps you to relax for a couple of minutes, or take a break away from the screen.

Conclusion

Based on all the above, Neo PR is a great place to work, and the team here is great too. Moving from one side of PR to the other was at first a daunting prospect, but getting stuck straight in at Neo PR has helped me to find my feet quickly, thanks to the support of the team and all the perks of working here too. If you are looking for a role that offers a challenge alongside an inclusive workplace, then you have come to the right place!
